At Nordwood Atelier, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely happy, we offer a 30-day free return policy in addition to your statutory rights under European consumer law.

2. 30-Day Free Returns

You have the right to return your order within 30 days of receiving your item, free of charge.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in its original condition
  • The item must be returned in its original packaging
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) must be provided

3. How to Initiate a Return

  • Photos if the item is damaged or defective

We will provide you with return instructions and, where applicable, a prepaid return shipping label.

4. Return Shipping Costs

  • Returns are free of charge for customers
  • We will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs where applicable

5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • You will be notified of the approval or rejection of your refund
  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 5–10 business days
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

Please note:

  • Original shipping costs (if any were charged) will also be refunded where required by law
  • Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider

6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

  • Please contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide photos and a description of the issue

We will:

  • Offer a replacement, or
  • Provide a full refund

at no additional cost to you.

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not be eligible for return unless defective:

  • Custom-made or personalized products
  • Items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once opened (if applicable)

This does not affect your statutory rights.

8. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item:

  • Please return your original item
  • Place a new order separately

9. EU Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

Our 30-day free return policy extends this right.
